Transitioning from a ladder through a roof hatch can be a hazardous process. Just a moment of distraction can turn an open roof access hatch into a hazard. It’s why OSHA requires roof access points to be protected by a standard railing and gate.
Our railing system and self-closing safety gate protects this roof access point by surrounding the opening, mitigating the risk. The railing protects the roof opening when the hatch is open and becomes a grab rail for climbers, ensuring safer transitions. The mounting brackets bolt directly to the hatch frame, saving your roof membrane from any damage.
