Anchors are a secure point of attachment and an integral part of a fall-arrest or fall-restrict system. Roof Anchors can be retrospectively fitted to standing seams, trapezoidal composite and metal profiles, single ply membrane, mineral felt, zinc and other roof types using specialist fasteners, preserving both weatherproofing and system integrity. Note: Roofing manufacturers must approve fasteners.

Horizontal Lifeline

Horizontal Lifeline Systems (HLL)

A Horizontal Lifeline System provides customers with reliable engineered solutions for employees who are at risk of a fall while working at height. A Horizontal Lifeline System (HLL) includes a flexible line such as wire, rope or cable, with connectors at both ends for securing it horizontally between two anchorages or anchorage connectors.

There are two types of horizontal lifeline applications – permanent and temporary. A permanent horizontal lifeline is installed into a structure as a permanent anchor point. A temporary HLL means the system is easy to install and remove. For versatility, it can also be used on more than one jobsite.  Applications include construction, building and roof maintenance and inspection tasks. Whatever the task, whatever the environment, Safeguard has a suitable fall protection solution available.

These products meet all applicable OSHA, ANSI and CSA standards for fall protection.

SSI Rigid Roof Anchors

Anchorage connectors vary by industry, job, type of installation and structure. They must be able to hold fast under more than a ton of force generated in a fall. Safeguard Rigid Roof Anchors are designed to resist a pull-out force of 5400lbs (24kN), applied in ANY direction. Safeguard Rigid Roof Anchors are available with stainless steel or galvanized steel finishes. Weld-on, bolt-on, adhesive, cast-in-place concrete, curb and wall anchor models provide several options to choose from.
